Keeping in view the economic backwardness posing as a bar to meritorious students from Assam, We have decided to initiate an Educational Support Programme for UPSC aspirants entitled “PANCHA PARASMONI” from 10th September 2020 wherein 5 nos. of selected candidates belonging to economically poor families will be given free quality coaching including all reading materials as well as fooding and lodging arrangements to help them crack UPSC.
Our Trust shall take care of all expenses during the course for the selected 5 nos. of IAS aspirants and in this noble venture, we are proud to be associated with Rau’s IAS Study Circle which is a pioneer institute in Civil Services exam preparation with more than 67 years of existence and is regarded as a benchmark institute for IAS exam coaching in India. After a careful deliberation, we have decided to conduct an “Objective-type Multiple-Choice Questions Exam” to test the General Awareness and acumen of the aspiring students whose question paper shall be prepared solely by experts of Rau’s IAS Study Circle. The candidates shall be provided with OMR sheets for answering the Multiple-Choice Questions and 20-25 nos. of students shall be selected purely on the basis of merit and shall be called on for an interview session in Guwahati which shall be conducted by our Trust with experts from Rau’s IAS Study Circle who shall select 5 nos. of the deserving candidates for coaching directly under Rau’s IAS Study Circle. Due to Covid-19 protocols, Rau’s IAS Study Circle is going to induct the new batch from 9th October which shall be conducted online and all the selected 5 nos. of deserving candidates shall be accommodated at Guwahati and online classes be attended through vitual media. As and when offline mode is started by Rau’s IAS Study Circle, all the 5 selected candidates shall be transported to Delhi Centre for attending the physical classes wherein the cost of transportation, their stay in hostels/flats in delhi/ including cost of fooding & lodging/ Coaching fees and all related expenses shall be borne by our Trust. Our mission is to help the students belonging to poor families of Assam to provide them with a platform to compete in merit in the Civil Services examination of the country and crack the UPSC exams with flying colors under the direct guidance and supervision of Rau’s IAS Study Circle and under the support of the competent team of professionals of Biva Himangshu Memorial Trust.
